How Long Does a Bathroom Remodel Take?

A realistic timeline homeowners can actually plan around.

A standard bathroom remodel - new fixtures, tile, vanity, no layout changes - typically takes two to three weeks once work begins. A full gut renovation with plumbing or layout changes usually runs four to six weeks. Add a week or two if custom cabinetry or special-order tile is involved.

Publishing this kind of specific, honest timeline does two things: it captures a real, frequently searched question, and it sets expectations early enough that homeowners don't feel blindsided mid-project - which means fewer awkward conversations and better reviews at the end.
